What is home resort priority?

Every DVC contract is tied to a home resort. Members can book their home resort up to 11 months in advance, compared to 7 months for all other resorts. DVCHomeResort.com focuses on this 11-month window, letting you list or rent points specifically at the resort where you have that booking advantage.

How do I list my points for rent?

Create an account, enter your home resort, use year, and available points, then set your asking price per point. Your listing is visible to renters looking for stays at your specific resort. Once matched, both parties sign a rental agreement and payment is held in escrow.

What is the escrow process?

After both parties sign the rental agreement, the renter funds the escrow account. The member then makes the Disney reservation. Once the reservation is confirmed, the escrow funds are released to the member minus the platform fee.

What is the platform fee?

Members keep 75% of the agreed rental price. The 25% platform fee covers escrow processing, contract generation, and customer support.

Can I rent points from any DVC resort?

Yes. While our platform specializes in home resort advantage bookings, renters can find available points from all 17 DVC resorts. Members list based on their home resort, so supply varies by resort and time of year.

What happens if Disney cancels the reservation?

If Disney cancels a confirmed reservation due to resort closure or other Disney-caused event, the escrow funds are returned to the renter in full. If the member is unable to complete the reservation for reasons within their control, the renter is also fully refunded.
