Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge opened in 2017 as the newest DVC expansion at the Wilderness Lodge campus on Bay Lake. Built alongside the original Boulder Ridge Villas, Copper Creek occupies dedicated floors in the lodge and a separate lakeside cluster of Cabins that float on pylons at the shore of Bay Lake — stand-alone structures with direct water views and private dock access. The Cabins are among the most visually distinctive overnight accommodations in all of Walt Disney World, combining a woodsy National Park aesthetic with the privacy and amenities of a full DVC villa.
The defining advantage of Copper Creek over its neighbor Boulder Ridge is contract length: Copper Creek deeds run through 2067, a full 25 years longer than Boulder Ridge's 2042 expiration. Both buildings share the same resort grounds — the Neverland Pool, boat service to Magic Kingdom, Artist Point dining, and the grand timber-and-stone Wilderness Lodge lobby. Studios and one-bedrooms at Copper Creek are newer and modern, with Pacific Northwest-inspired decor that fits the Wilderness Lodge environment perfectly. The boat service to Magic Kingdom remains one of the most scenic transportation options on Disney property.
Per-point rental pricing at Copper Creek runs approximately $18–20, slightly above Boulder Ridge on the same campus due to the longer contract life. For renters, Copper Creek delivers a premium Wilderness Lodge experience with newer rooms at a price point well below the monorail resorts. Availability is generally good outside of peak holidays.
